We’re looking for a senior commercial design leader to take ownership of design across multiple projects - ensuring buildability, efficiency, quality, and smooth transition from design through consent and into construction.
This role is critical to our success. You’ll lead design workflow, manage consultants and internal design resources, and work closely with Pre-Con and Construction to ensure designs are accurate, buildable, and commercially smart.
Northland or Auckland based
$140k–$180k
Opportunity to influence innovation, modular design, and digital capability
Has hands-on experience in managing design across multiple commercial projects concurrently.
Thoroughly understands NZ Building Code, design standards, and consenting.
Can translate a client brief into a buildable, creative, and efficient solution.
Is uncompromising on design quality, compliance, and client outcomes, with meticulous documentation, strong consultant coordination, and Procore (or similar) capability.
Is a steady, practical leader who thrives on collaboration, builds high-performing teams, communicates clearly, and is prepared to drive change and innovation in how design is done.
Experience with modular design and alternative construction methodologies is a strong advantage.
